It began when I went to visit the grand-girl.  She has a new playhouse which needed curtains.  Of course, sewing would be easy but I hadn’t brought my sewing machine to Colorado.  That left knitting as my only option.  So, it began.  I then decided this month’s window had to be about home knitting,  as we are heading back indoors for fall.  The table sat looking bare and forlorn, and asking for a Louet linen tablecloth - which also gave us the fingertip towels (Thank You, Susan!).  Cover a flower pot with something pretty, I used Aracunia cotton in cornflower blue.  An afghan is a must, endless options there.  Marcia offered her bathmat, and Candy gave us her hot water bottle cover made with baby cashmerino.  I suggest a felted laptop sleeve for the office and slippers for your tootsies (Rowan Denim) and voila, you have a cozy hand knit home.
